They serve fresh seafood and fish (their Risotto is our personal favorite), plus an excellent wine and champagne selection. If you’re in the mood for something lighter, the bar offers snacks and cocktails, and in the summer, they host beach parties with live music.

Located in an old farmhouse in the center of the Porches, O Leão de Porches offers a slightly more refined dining experience with plenty of charisma. The menu is a visual treat with a fusion of Mediterranean and Portuguese flavors.

8. Etxea in Carvoeiro

Etxea is a newcomer to Carvoeiro’s dining scene, quickly making a name for itself with its Iberian fusion and exquisite tuna tartar. Since it’s located in the center of Carvoeiro, it’s easily discoverable. We highly recommend it to anyone who’s looking to try something new and delicious in a stylish setting.

Looking for a classic Portuguese dining experience in Lagos? Pateo Velho is an award-winning restaurant that serves an excellent à la carte menu and rare specialties in a true Portuguese setting. Reserve this restaurant for days when you feel like splurging and are in the mood for a unique and sophisticated dining experience. You have to enter the Tivoli hotel in Lagos to access the restaurant.

Club Nau is on Praia Grande in Ferragudo. Step off the porch and you’re right on the beach. The club hosts ‘Magic Sundays’ that features live music with local artists, which creates a lovely atmosphere. No matter the weather or season, the place always has a fun, party vibe. When it comes to food, their Japanese options stand out. Sushi, spicy tuna and salmon robata are simply delectable. There pastas too. All in all, a great place to have dinner.

Vila Joya SEA is a beautiful beachfront restaurant on Praia da Gale in Albufeira. If you prefer a more relaxed, intimate dining experience, you’ll absolutely love this place. The restaurant features an open kitchen at its center which is really cool because so you can watch the chefs work their magic. The menu offers delicious Asian and Latin-inspired dishes, ideal for a laid-back lunch. The people at Vila Joya SEA are super friendly. They make you feel not just welcome, but part of a special experience.

They are crispy, creamy, and decadently sweet and Fabrica Velha makes them best. This bakery might be small, but it’s big in flavor. We highly recommend that you try pairing these pastries with a glass of fresh orange juice or coffee for a delicious start to your day.
